Gold Medal Contracting was founded in August 2025 after I watched the company I worked for change hands and lose the craftsmanship and culture that once made it great. Quality slipped, corners were cut, and the pride in the finished product disappeared. I wasn’t willing to attach my name to work that didn’t meet my standard, so I started GMC to build something better, something I could stand behind without hesitation.
Today, Gold Medal Contracting serves homeowners across Simcoe County, Barrie, Midland, and the surrounding area, delivering residential renovations and custom carpentry that are built properly, built cleanly, and built to last. Every project is guided by five core values: craftsmanship, honesty, community, long-term durability, and a zero-corners-cut mindset. These are non-negotiable. They shape how we plan, how we build, and how we communicate with homeowners from the first walkthrough to the final sweep-up.
